This dramatic presentation was designed for an ITL2SJ Social Justice Symposium at Fielding Graduate University.
The Four Susans, a Fielding doctoral cluster group, created a co-learning drama to share their story of how paired social networking supported them in opening a space to bridge worldviews. Each member experienced a transformative journey of Self-in-Relationship that also tells a larger story of finding voice and visibility for Indigenous ways of knowing that belong with Western knowledge in the greater discourse circle.
The North Carolina Statewide Preschool Nutrition Conference Planning Committee commissioned a play for their annual statewide, multi-system nutrition conference. (approx. 700 in attendance). Ana's Story wove together actual stories from members of the represented agencies and their clients. The actors were staff members from the participating agencies.

The play began with Ana introducing herself to the audience...
"You know what they say, a picture says a thousand words…and I am a very proud mama so I have brought a few pictures from our family album that I would like to share with you, so you can meet my family and friends. Then I will tell you about a very special thing that happened to us, just this past year. I think it was like a miracle really…but first, let me show you my pictures…"
Ana's story unfolded in short vignettes as she shared her photo album with the audience.
